Klick & Partners is a family studio shaped by a long-standing relationship with design. Founded on a legacy that began in 1985 with Klick Interiors, our work is grounded in craft, care, and the belief that thoughtful design has lasting impact.
Today, that foundation extends into consulting, strategy, and creative work. We bring a design-led mindset to complex problems, drawing on experience across disciplines while remaining open to experimentation and new forms of expression.
Klick & Partners exists as both a continuation and an evolution — honoring where we come from while creating space for what comes next.
Klick & Partners is grounded in a family history of design that began in 1985 with the founding of Klick Interiors by Peter Klick. A Swiss-American architect and interior designer, Peter brought a distinctly European design sensibility to his work, shaped by his training in Switzerland and Germany and informed by a deep respect for craft, function, and human experience.
After studying furniture and woodworking in Basel and earning a master’s degree in interior architecture from Stuttgart’s Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Peter began his career designing stores, offices, and homes across Switzerland. In 1985, he established Klick Interiors, applying that foundation to projects throughout Europe and the United States. His work spanned commercial and residential spaces, guided by a belief that environments should never be dull, but instead offer clarity, character, and care.
Alongside his professional practice, Peter was a dedicated educator, teaching at Chicago’s Harrington College of Design for more than fifteen years. His projects ranged from corporate clients such as UBS and Swatch to innovative classroom environments and the renovation of historic villas. Though Peter Klick passed in 2016, the principles that shaped his work — creativity, curiosity, and a caring approach to design — continue to inform how Klick & Partners thinks, works, and creates today.
